The versatile video all-rounder for your network
Owing to its compact and sophisticated design the VideoNetBox is flexible and can be mounted in almost any location. It forms the core of your video system. Configuration, recording, transmission and evaluation – the VNB offers full functionality within a small housing. Through individual configuration options you get exactly the VideoNetBox you need, one that is perfectly adjusted to your requirements and your network infrastructure. Its practical form means that the VNB is also suited for flexible temporary applications, for example at construction sites, for undercover investigations, in branches etc.
The small scale VNB is also based on the proven Dallmeier hardware concept, which guarantees highest reliability and user-friendliness of the VideoNetBox.
The compact multi purpose device
Whether in IP, hybrid or classical analogue operation: With the VideoNetBox you are independent and flexible. The standard version is equipped with two video inputs which can be expanded to up to eight video channels, two at a time. High-definition cameras are also supported of course (resolution SD, HD 720p, HD 1080i, and HD 1080p, up to 8 megapixels).
The VideoNetBox features the Dallmeier PentaplexPlus functionality (simultaneous real-time recording and streaming; remote access, live display and playback) and supports the MJPEG, MPEG-4, and H.264 video formats as well as the MPEG-1 Layer 2 and G.722 audio formats.
The management software VideoNetView as well as the PRemote advance software (optional) allow for the transmission of live images and recorded footage at low bandwidths. They also guarantee comprehensive evaluation possibilities and fast analyses – simply integrate the VNB into your network and start!
Numerous applications
It does not matter whether it is used in logistics, retail, cash machines or in temporary applications such as on construction sites. There are numerous areas of applications for the VideoNetBox. A particularly practical feature is that you can conveniently access all connected VNBs and, for example, get an overview of all your branches without the need to travel. You can access the system no matter where you are or when you need the images.
Bandwidth is also no problem as PRemote advance allows for a smooth transmission of images, splits etc from bandwidths as low as 64kbit (UMTS stick). This works with live images as well as recorded footage! You are thus able to transmit images even in areas where there is only ISDN available.
The ideal complement to the VideoNetBox: Video Power Inserter VPI-8
The Video Power Inserter VPI-8 enables the voltage supply, video signal transmission and the RS485 connection of an analogue camera via one single CAT cable. Thereby it is easily possible to integrate UTP capable analogue cameras into an existing IP infrastructure.
