The world’s only SelfCooking Center®

With the invention of the SelfCooking Center®, RATIONAL has set a totally new world standard, and is fundamentally changing food preparation methods. In contrast to conventional combi-steamers, the SelfCooking Center® has no manual settings for temperature, time, cooking cabinet climate and air speed. Even the complicated programming of the cooking processes is a thing of the past. The SelfCooking Center® automatically detects the specific requirements of the individual food, and adjusts the cooking process fully automatically. The result is consistently perfect – every day.

Winning time for the essentials
The simple controls allow even untrained personnel to work with the SelfCooking Center®. The chef is freed from routine kitchen chores, leaving him more time for the important things – like time for creative menu planning, careful shopping, the perfect mise en place and meticulous presentation on the plate.

Cooking without limits
The SelfCooking Center® replaces 50% of all traditional cooking appliances, such as combi-steamers, hot air ovens, stoves, tilting pans, boilers, steamers and deep-fat fryers. It keeps the cost of new investments and the space required to an absolute minimum. Practically one hundred percent of all dishes can be cooked with a SelfCooking Center®: Meat, fish, side dishes, egg dishes and bakery products – everything cooks perfectly, day after day after day.

An investment that pays for itself

When used in professional kitchens, investment in the SelfCooking Center® will generally pay for itself in 6 to 12 months given the considerable reductions in terms of use of raw materials, working time and power compared to conventional cooking methods.
