Cuyana, a San Francisco based label offering "fewer, better" things for women, has opened a pop-up shop today in New York City. The shop is located at 266 Elizabeth Street and will remain open through early 2017.
Cuyana offers apparel and accessories that have story, quality, and style. All pieces are designed with a classic, feminine aesthetic and are sourced from the world's highest quality materials and crafted to last a lifetime. By selling directly to customers rather than through other retailers, Cuyana is able to offer high-quality, timeless pieces at attainable prices.
Inspired by the fast-paced city essentials featured in Cuyana's Fall Collection, the pop-up will feature exclusive photos from celebrated photographers Matt Johnson, Alice Gao and Emily Johnston. Each photographer was chosen for their unique aesthetic and approach to capturing moments in the city they call home. The photos in the space become reflections of the city itself, as seen through the lens of each individual photographer.
The intimate space is designed to feel like you have entered a welcoming living space to mirror the brand's clean aesthetic. The pop-up was created for visitors to stop in and stay a while, embodying a harmonized expression of cultivated details. Custom-made furniture designed with brass and marble accents, along with fresh finds from all over the world, mix and mingle to create a soothing escape from the busy city. Live monogramming will be offered every day at this location.
This will be Cuyana's third and longest standing pop-up in New York, due to popular demand. In 2014 the brand tested a five day holiday pop-up on West Broadway, in 2015 there was a 7 week pop-up on Wooster Street and this year the pop-up is scheduled to be open for just over five months.
