Coldface - control and connectivity for cold rooms

Where there is a need for cold rooms, there is a need for accurate temperature and humidity control in order to ensure the safety and quality of foodstuffs stored inside them. At EuroShop, Eliwell presented the complete Coldface range, which consists of systems and products whose leading-edge technological content has been developed to facilitate their design and installation and to simplify everyday use by the end-user.

The complete Coldface series by Eliwell is ideal for applications in a wide variety of sectors, ranging from small and large-scale distribution to restaurants and catering. The controllers enable the management of all functions in both static and ventilated cold rooms by means of a single device. They are equipped with configurable digital inputs, analogue inputs and relay outputs, and allow direct control of compressors of up to 2 HP. They are also equipped with a real-time clock (RTC) and alarm buzzer for managing defrosting cycles and energy-saving functions.

The controllers of the complete Coldface range, for cold rooms, have become extremely popular with users because of their ease of installation and use, as well as the flexibility and reliability with which they manage cold room functions.

In fact, Coldface is widely appreciated by installers due to its easy installation, consisting of a single unit that required just two screws to fix the front panel. Other installation advantages include an innovatively designed box offering simple wall-mounting, water resistance and an IP54 protection rating.

Easy to use, the controllers are equipped with a double display with easy-to-read numbers and illuminated icons. Four of the eight large function keys give direct access to the many functions to be monitored, including: conventional temperature control, recording of temperatures and HACCP events, and combined temperature and humidity control which is vital for product maturing cycles.

Coldface controllers are available in various models and can also be connected to Televis and Modbus monitoring systems. The benefits however also extend to users too: Coldface is equipped with a temperature profile selector function, which ensures precise temperature control for foodstuff conservation at the touch of a button. The user interface is simple and intuitive, thanks to the easy-to-read double display and the four large function keys.
