"ColdChain Expo Eurasia" will shed light on the cold chain industry
Conference program is covering the latest developments in the sector
Ever increasing world population and changing consumer behavior patterns, result in an increase in fresh, frozen and ready food products. This demand also increases the need for cold chain systems required for transportation and storage of such products. The Cold Chain Logistics, Equipment and Technologies Special Section - ColdChain Expo Eurasia, of WorldFood Istanbul which will be held at Istanbul Expo Center, CNR Expo between 1 - 4 September 2016 is at the forefront as the “first specialized exhibition” of the region’s cold chain industry.
Supported mainly by Global Cold Chain Alliance and Cold Chain Logistics Association Turkey and UTIKAD in Turkey, this special section will be hosting a conference that will be held concurrently with the exhibition. The latest developments in the sector will be discussed by academicians, and professionals from public and private organizations. The conference will also contribute to the development and globalization of the cold chain industry.
Organized by ITE Turkey, the 24th International Food Products and Processing Technologies Exhibition - WorldFood Istanbul; will be hosting the ColdChain Expo Eurasia special section which will be organized for the first time this year. As the first specialized event of the cold chain industry in Eurasia Region, this special section will create new business and partnership opportunities for the companies operating in the areas of Cold Chain Services, Cold Transportation and Equipment and Cold Storage and Equipment. The bilateral business meetings to be held as part of the special section, will help the cold chain industry to grow by 13,9 percent until 2020.
ColdChain Expo Eurasia will bring professionals together that own or rent out or manage temperature controlled transportation, storage and lifting products and services for the Food Manufacture and Supply, Fruit & Vegetables, Meat & Dairy products, Seafood & fish, Frozen & Chilled Food Products, Agriculture & Horticulture, Wholesale, Distribution & Retail, Transportation, Pharmaceutical & Healthcare, Cold Storage and Horeca (hotel, restaurant, cafe) sectors.
