The freezer features integrated LED illumination and a large display area for an attractive presentation of multiple product categories, with premium products on top shelves and bulk products in the bottom basket.

The ergonomic double door system facilitates easy product loading for store staff and ensures merchandise is easy to reach for shoppers. Carrier, which operates in Germany as Carrier Commercial Refrigeration Germany, is the world’s leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, and is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

By choosing the Velando Quick Loader, food retailers can benefit from its numerous innovative features. Optimal energy efficiency and reduced lifecycle costs are made possible by the integrated energy saving technology, such as the high-efficiency frame and LED illumination. Improved merchandise visibility and accessibility may help to increase sales, while the improved loading ergonomics may increase staff productivity.

The Velando Quick Loader boasts a variety of configuration options, which make the freezer suitable for a wide range of store layouts and can be easily integrated into a retailer’s existing line of cabinets.

“When looking at the layout in a supermarket, it was clear the frozen food area needs a cabinet with a brand new concept for improving both the shopping experience and the logistics,” said Patrice Boutillot, program director, E6 cabinet generation, Carrier Commercial Refrigeration Europe. “When we designed the Velando Quick Loader, the advantages of what existing freezers offer to consumers and retailers were further developed, and new innovative features were implemented.”
