New retailers abound this fall at Asheville Market, with a strong focus on sustainability – plus some fashion, good food and soul revitalization thrown in as well. The center's owner, Edens, has worked to bring a new and diverse mix of retailers to the Tunnel Road area.

"Asheville Market has added a great dynamic to the area since Whole Foods opened last year. We are excited to continue that standard with the great new retailers that we're opening this fall," said Lyle Darnall, managing director of Edens.

Retailers opening soon include:

Fifth Season Gardening: An Asheville favorite since 2000, where doing it yourself is always in season. In addition to their traditional offerings of hydroponic and organic gardening supplies, they carry beer and wine making products, supplies for cheese making, vinegar making, canning, fermentation and a host of other areas collectively known as Urban D.I.Y.

Relax & Rejuvenate: A spa that specializes in natural healing, full relaxation and overall wellness through massage therapy. They offer professional services in a comfortable and friendly environment, with reasonable rates.

Recently opened retailers include:

Chicken Salad Chick: Started by a stay-at-home mom and a computer software salesman, this southern-inspired, fast-casual chicken salad restaurant is booming. With 15 different chicken salads to choose from, there is something for every palate.

Green4Life: An eco-emporium for your everyday life, Green4Life offers environmentally friendly women's and children's clothing, kitchen accessories and home decor. The shop at Asheville Market is Green4Life's first store, and many of the items featured are exclusive to their shelves – which are all recycled and repurposed.

Versona: An exclusive women's boutique offering apparel and accessories including jewelry, handbags, shoes and more, at exceptional price points. Their stores are a fun and easy place to shop, where you can find the perfect accents to any outfit, no matter what the occasion.
