A display goes future

burkhardt leitner modular spaces at the EuroShop

As part of the world's leading trade fair EuroShop Düsseldorf 2020, a trade fair for innovative products for global retail, burkhardt leitner modular spaces was presenting its new product clic up and a unique edition of clic up display units for the first time. The clic system has evolved since the last EuroShop in 2017 and the new clic up system extension (designed by Akin Nalca) and as well the different display units were the focus of burkhardt leitner modular spaces' trade fair presence at EurosShop 2020.

clic up:

The aim of clic up was to bring the design classic "clic" into today's world of large formats, backlighting and faster, self-explanatory and tool-free assembly. Just as important, a light transport volume for worldwide use and an exhibition and display system that meets the sustainability criteria with its complete reusability, modularity, durability and changeable graphic surfaces. The implementation was successful thanks to a new profile type, with self-locking hinge, user-friendly and quick installation is possible. With clic up, a printed and backlit textile surface of 1800 x 1800 mm is possible. Large and small, as well as illuminated graphic areas as one unit, is unique in the display market and only
possible with a clic-up. The system works independently of the room and can be played on both sides. The integration into the classic magnetic connector principle of the clic system goes without saying.

The first design award was given at the "Good Design 2019" competition by the German Designer Club (DDC). Akin Nalca, designer and managing director of burkhardt leitner modular spaces in Frankfurt, accepted the prize for clic up in a ceremony at the end of November 2019. And the second award followed at the beginning of February 2020: clic up received the iF Design Awards 2020.

A highlight of the past year: Publisher form has included the clic system in its book series "Design Classics". Here burkhardt leitner modular space stands alongside major brands such as FSB and USM. Prof. Georg Vrachliotis found the right words as the author with the headline "Freedom of Systems". The booklet "clic System by Burkhardt Leitner Modular Spaces" has the ISBN 978-3-943962-66-6.
