Crosscan is one of the largest solution providers for visitor frequency measurement and enhanced data analysis in the retail industry with 24.000 installations in 49 countries across the world. Our sophisticated and proven analysis tools offer the possibility to understand customer behavior in brick-and-mortar stores and to analyse data on the cloud-based Crosscan Connect platform in real-time. By enhancing complementary data from other sources, like weather or cash desk information, further comprehensive evaluations can be accessed and used as guidance note. More than 800 brands and retailers already have placed their trust in our Crosscan Connect Platform in order to determine the potential of their stores and to optimise them. Store comparisons and individual store KPI help to know conversion rates, set benchmarks and understand customer behavior.
This allows store managers e.g. to schedule their staff based as required, identify hotspots from visitor path analyses, manage queues and cash desks as well as using technologies for shelf gap analysis or gender/age detection. Furthermore Crosscan also publishes indices for various sectors or geographical areas in the Federal Republic of Germany based on its existing data pool. Research into modern machine learning methods also generates new data and predictive information.
Since 2018, Vitracom GmbH, a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, became part of Crosscan, who is one of the pioneers in the field of 2D and 3D sensor development.
