BÄRO Batwing

Auriga Batwing
Auriga Batwing
The "Batwing" fixture, which, from the aisle, is able to perfectly illuminate two opposite shelves 2.5 metres apart from the top to the bottom on account of its specific distribution of luminous intensity. Fixtures spaced up to four metres apart achieve an extremely good lighting effect for goods displayed on tables, angled presentations and wall displays.

The main advantage of Batwing technology is that large stores need considerably fewer lighting fixtures than before thanks to the large spacing between the individual lamps. The light output is at least the same, if not even better. This fact alone reduces the initial costs and later maintenance expenses for the lighting fixtures. Batwing fixtures also offer further savings potential on account of lower electricity costs plus the advantage that their average lifetime is 15 times that of a normal light bulb.

In addition to the technical and financial advantages of the new Batwing fixtures, stores do not have to make any compromises as regards atmospheric lighting. On the contrary: With Batwing fixtures, retailers can forget conventional fluorescent tubes with their dim standard lighting and show their products to much better effect. This holds considerable sales potential. Furthermore, skilfully deployed light is the best sales promotion tool of all, enabling attractive presentation of the products and thus encouraging customers to make purchases.
