Germany's first Concept Mall

Photo Gallery: The architecture of the shopping mall "Bikini Berlin"

With the "Center at the Zoo" and the associated "Bikini House", the architects Paul Schwebes and Hans Schoszberger in 1955 have created a tidy, transparent ensemble.

The building complex stood for economic progress and was a milestone for the creative awakening of the Federal Republic. When converting it into a Concept Mall, the "new architects" always had the goal in mind to make the ease of it's construction visible again.

Exclusive retailers can use a "box concept" here, using the relatively small "Bikini Boxes" creatively for a limited time. In our photo gallery, we show you the special architectural highlights of the shopping center.
