OSRAM is extending its product range of T5 fluorescent lamps and Dulux compact fluorescent lamps with even more economical models that offer superior lighting comfort. Combined with the new Quicktronic Intelligent GII electronic control gear (ECG) lighting solutions with T5 lamps are becoming even more efficient.

Apart from their efficiency, the new products, which are being introduced as part of the fluorescent and compact fluorescent lamp category, have even more special distinguishing features:

T5 Seamless HE: Attractive lighting that looks just right
With its new design, the T5 Seamless HE (high efficiency) fluorescent lamp enables continuous lighting without shadows. Plus, it can be used at various power output levels in the same system. With its new geometry the lamp allows for more design options and is therefore especially suited to applications in which premium quality lighting plays a major role, such as in hotels, restaurants or shopping centres. As they are dimmable, this provides various options for designing mood lighting and saving even more energy. By operating on the smart ECG Quicktronic Intelligent GII, T5 Seamless HE lamps become a highly efficient system. At A2 BAT, the ECG has the best energy efficiency rating in compliance with EEI, a life of up to 100,000 hours and superior switching capability. When combined with motion detectors, the ECG is ideal as there are no limits to the number of operations.

T5 HO ES and T5 HE ES: less energy = more savings
The T5 HO ES (high output, energy saver) in 45, 50 and 73W versions use 10 percent less energy than conventional T5 HO lamps when operated by powered control gear such as the GII or Professional GII. The same applies to the T5 HE ES with 25 and 32W compared to standard T5 HE lamps. The luminous flux remains the same. With a 73W-T5 HO ES lamp CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 80kg over an average life of 24,000 hours. With a T5 HE ES lamp at 32W up to 30kg of CO2 can be saved. In industry, warehouses or offices (T5 HO ES) and shopping centres (T5 HE ES) the lamps can be replaced quickly and easily and they pay for themselves in less than a year.

Dulux T/E HE 11W: superior light output, easy to install
The Dulux T/E 11W HE supplements the Dulux T/E compact fluorescent lamp family with 14 and 17W versions. These lamps provide up to 32 percent better light yield compared to conventional compact fluorescent lamps. Dulux T/E HE lamps have a long average life of up to 20,000 hours and are easy to install. Their new GR14q-1 base reduces the risk of damaging the lamp reflector. The lamp has been optimised for interior lighting – its maximum luminous flux is achieved at an ambient temperature of +35°C. It is suitable for lighting shops, hotels and restaurants, offices, public facilities and emergency lighting.

Dulux L HE 16, 22 and 26W: exceptionally efficient
The Dulux L HE (high efficiency) series offers extremely high light output of up to 100lm/W (at an ambient temperature of +35°C) and a prolonge d average life of up to 20,000 hours. Optimised for interior lighting, Dulux L HE lamps are suitable for schools, public facilities, offices, industrial buildings, hotels and shops.
