The new Apollo Optik store in Munich’s Olympia shopping centre creates a bright, inviting and dynamic effect due to a new lighting concept from Ansorg.
The store with its good 180 square metres provides not only a clearly arranged and inviting salesroom with advice areas, but also various service and functional rooms.
Along the walls in the salesroom the platforms stand in rows, displaying the respective spectacle models. The scene is attractively set for them by an LED spotlight from the Bop series. For optimum illumination of the narrow genderboards attached above them the light from the corresponding spotlight is obliquely fanned out with an additional structured lens.
In that way scatter losses are minimised and only what is essential is emphasised. In the shop window area as well as for the illumination of promotion displays in the entrance area Bop spotlights with narrow-beam spot reflectors are likewise used in order to achieve delimitation from the interior area by means of dynamic accentuated lighting.
A ceiling sail suspended in the centre of the salesroom generates a spatial identification of the advice areas. The LED downlights of the Maxx series recessed in the ceiling sail ensure bright, glare-free and pleasant lighting of the area.
Also in the service rooms with their friendly design great importance was attached to attractive lighting. Ansorg impressively demonstrates on the basis of the Apollo store how sales-promoting shop lighting can be combined with low energy consumption thanks to intelligent design, planning and economical luminaires.
