APG announces the hiring of Mr. Paul Griffiths as its new president and CEO

Global cash management solution manufacturer welcomes its new president & CEO Paul Griffiths

APG Cash Drawer, a global manufacturer of cash management solutions announces the hiring of Mr. Paul Griffiths as its President and CEO. 

Most recently, Mr. Griffiths was the CEO of Birchwood Casey, a sporting goods company working with large and small retailers who brings a wealth of experience in executive leadership to the business.

Mr. Griffiths takes over for Mark Olson as president and CEO, who is retiring after 32 years of leadership. Under Mark’s guidance APG became the industry’s best and preferred option for cash drawers and is now positioned to become an innovative supplier of cash management solutions with its recent launch of the SMARTtill Solution suite.

“APG has a history of being a global supplier of world class products to the retail point of sale industry,” stated Mr. Griffiths. He further noted that, “the global retail landscape is changing rapidly, and I look forward to leveraging this strong brand position for the acceleration and development of APG as a leader of global cash management solutions.”

Over the coming weeks Paul will meet with many of APG’s customers and will have the opportunity to hear their strategies and challenges firsthand, as well as to share his perspective on APG’s future direction.

Mr. Griffiths along with his wife of 28 years and their three adult sons, live in the Minneapolis area.
