Canon Europe extends its support of the Danone Nations Cup Youth Football Tournament

Canon Europe, world leader in imaging solutions, is proud to announce that it has committed to being an official partner of the Danone Nations Cup in 2011, extending its existing sponsorship relationship with the tournament. The new official partner status extends to the World Final tournament which will take place in Madrid, Spain, from 6 October. The final match will take place on 9 October 2011 in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of the famous Real Madrid team.

The Danone Nations Cup is the largest ever youth football tournament for players aged between 10 and 12, with 2.5 million youths involved in national tournaments across 40 participating countries every year.

As part of its role as official sponsor, Canon will be organising a wide range of activities and the production of printed materials for the participants, all themed around photography. The activities will include team photo sessions, and the printed materials will include a range of souvenirs that the players can take away with them to encapsulate the event and share the excitement with friends and family.
