The mount is compatible with our SpacePole range of payment mounting solutions including our wider base SpacePole Stack™. Discreet and minimalist in design, MultiClip is the almost invisible way to mount the Lane Series ensuring that the Payment terminal can effortlessly carry out NFC couponing and wallet use cases, in addition to EMV Chip & PIN, Swipe & Sign and contactless.

SpacePole MultiClip addresses a key problem for retailers who may put off upgrading their payment terminals due to investment concerns and perceived complications in changing the payment mount when introducing a new type of device. MultiClip has the ability to become a universal standard for payment mounts, and is seen as such by both Ergonomic Solutions and Ingenico – as their industry leading collaboration shows.

Reliable solutions for payment terminals

Security at the point of sale has never been so important. With both PCI and GDPR directives in place or close to roll out, the consequences of a data breach for those not in compliance are very serious indeed. Therefore, and in association with Kensington, we have developed a push-lock especially for MultiClip which not only secures, but contributes to the elegant and minimalist appearance of the total solution.

The MultiClip also has a quick release clip enabling the terminal to be removed for PCI compliance inspection, for example, and it is equally as simple to re-engage with its mount. The combination of SpacePole MultiClip and Kensington locks not only keeps your payment terminal safe, but also keeps your organisation in compliance with best practice recommendations.

On behalf of Ingenico, Laurent Mayer, said: “Ingenico, as a leader in payment services and terminals, always strive to provide its clients with the most advanced solutions in every respect, including security and ergonomics. This is why we decided to collaborate with Ergonomic Solutions. We jointly developed the state-of-the-art Universal Payment Mount (UPM) for payment devices. With its easy set-up and replacement, as well as its full compatibility with our Lane range, it will help lower retailers’ TCO.”

Speaking of the launch, Ralph Lambers, Chief Product Officer, Ergonomic Solutions, said, “We are delighted to have brought this product to market. SpacePole MultiClip takes payment mounting solutions to a new level of functionality and ease of use. By working so closely with both Ingenico and Kensington, we have developed a mounting solution that provides a common product and security interface for present and future versions of the Lane series of Payment terminals. It’s time to meet the new standard.”
