Reima AirConcept runs smelling pictures

Perfect visual display advertisement you can smell

To make a pleasant scent and moving images stay in the mind of customers and visitors, Reima AirConcept developed the “eye-catcher for the nose”, the first serial video-scent-display for sales promotion.

At the EuroShop 2017 in Düsseldorf, the Saxon scent marketing company Reima AirConcept GmbH from Meerane will present, as a world debut, the first serially manufactured video-scent-display, the AromaStreamer 1400.

The elegant video-scent-display disposes of a big 42 inch (107 cm) LCD screen, two loud speakers and a standardly integrated room scent system. Design meets functionality and additional benefit as three different senses (see, hear, smell) are addressed in the most emotional way. The high-resolution display, controlled by remote, plays all common formats (videos, pictures etc.) in brilliant quality. Themes and videos can be easily changed via USB. Tailored to individual needs there is a free choice of required scent.

The scent system integrated in the device operates according to the principle of cold nebulization and guarantees the even complexity of the scent. The gentle and micro fine nebulization of scent enables a fast aromatization of spaces up to 100 m². The scent system can be easily programmed to the required operating times by means of an integrated multifunctional timer. Scent intervals to the second guarantee an even and optimal scenting effect.

Information and function creates attention at highest perfection

By means of the harmonic interaction of visual, acoustic and olfactory elements a better and customer orientated world of feelings is built up. Information in combination with an appropriate scent demonstrably intensifies perception and sentimental values many times over. For instance, visual advertisement for a new chocolate bar can be accentuated with the respective jingle and a delicious chocolate scent. An advertising message with an appetizing and even intensive and sustainable effect.

Only few things attract us humans such as pictures and scents. They are emotional and attention seeking. Who does not know the sayings: “the nose is a fine judge” and “a picture is worth a thousand words”, this is the opinion of Jens Reißmann, one of the two CEOs and senior perfumer of Reima.
