Doddle, the leading provider of click and collect services for consumers with partners such as Amazon, Net-a-Porter and ASOS, today announced the launch of "Powered by Doddle", a comprehensive click and collect solution that includes all the software, training, communications and analytics modules retailers need to enhance their click and collect experience and deliver incremental revenue. The news was announced during the National Retail Federation’s (NRF's) Retail's Big Show in the US.

"With 'Powered by Doddle', retailers can now benefit from the best practices we have developed by running our specialist network and the two million parcel pickups and returns we have handled. Now is the time to seize the opportunity click and collect presents for their bottom line," said Tim Robinson, CEO at Doddle. "With 54 percent of UK consumers now picking up online orders in-store, a best-in-class click & collect service enables retailers to increase revenue, improve internal efficiency and deliver a superior user experience that keeps their customers coming back."

Doddle's streamlined user experience has earned the company a Net Promoter Score ® of 82, directly improving retailers' opportunity to increase customer loyalty through an improved click and collect user experience. An entirely unique part of the solution is the opportunity for retailers to become parcel collection points for other retail brands and create new footfall from the orders generated online.

Doddle's proprietary software supports a comprehensive set of click and collect (C&C) processes, including the receipt and storage of parcels, order fulfilment, the handling of expired parcels and paperless returns. Powered by Doddle leverages the best practices Doddle has honed in its own stores to streamline retailer click and collect offerings, improving efficiency, customer service and ultimately driving more sales for their bottom line. Customers using the service have reported an average of 32 percentreduction in daily staff hours required and a 30 percent increase in stockroom package capacity.

Additional features and benefits of Powered by Doodle include:

Customisable user experience – Retailers can tailor the look and feel of e-mails, SMS and push notifications sent to customers, as well as the interface used by staff, so their unique brand is reflected accurately at each touchpoint.

Facilitate online order returns – Users can process online order returns in-store and the data captured at the point of return is fully configurable. The solution also supports label printing for all major carriers.

Access to other retail partners – Retailers can offer customers the ability to collect parcels from Doddle’s global network of retail partners, driving new foot traffic and incremental spend to their stores.

Training – Doddle delivers comprehensive training for its Powered by Doddle offering in multiple formats, including a dedicated e-learning module, train-the-trainer sessions or centrally held staff training days.

Prior to the Powered by Doddle implementation, Doddle conducts a thorough audit of a retailer's existing C and C operation, including time & motion studies, space utilisation analysis and customer satisfaction surveys. The Powered by Doddle software is compatible with a range of Android devices and can be deployed to existing POS systems. Retailers can easily track click & collect performance across various performance metrics in order to enable a process of continuous incremental improvement.
